Our Services

Professional Website Design for A1A Businesses

A website on the Florida coast has two audiences: the people who live here year round and the visitors deciding where to eat, stay and book tonight. We design for both, and we build the search groundwork that gets you found by each.

Custom Website Design

Original designs shaped around your brand and your customers, never a recycled template. Clean code, fast pages and a layout that turns visits into calls.

Real Estate Websites

Listing showcases, neighborhood guides and lead capture for agents, brokers and property managers who sell the coastal lifestyle.

Restaurant Websites

Menus people can read on a phone, hours Google trusts, and clear paths to reservations and online ordering for the dinner rush.

Tourism & Hospitality Sites

Hotels, vacation rentals, charters and attractions that need booking-ready pages, seasonal updates and photos that sell the trip.

Search, AI Visibility and Compliance, Built In

Design is only half of a website that works. These services are part of how we build, and each one is also available on its own for an existing site.

Web Development

Hand-coded PHP and JavaScript, integrations, forms and an optional self-editing CMS.

Local SEO

Technical SEO, Google Business Profile alignment and content that ranks in your county.

Where We Work

Serving A1A Communities from the Palm Beaches to the Space Coast

State Road A1A strings together five very different coastal counties. Each one has its own economy, its own visitors and its own competition, so we research the market before we design for it.

Why Choose A1A Web Design

Your A1A Web Design Partner

We combine original design, standards-based development and current search practice, and we show you the test results instead of asking you to take our word for it.

Fast, Tested Builds

Every page is run through Google Lighthouse before launch, and we work toward green scores on mobile and desktop.

Mobile Responsive

Designed for the phone in a beach bag first, then scaled up for tablets, laptops and big desktop screens.

SEO, AEO & GEO Ready

Clean structure, schema and content that search engines, answer boxes and AI assistants can read and cite.

Accessible & Valid Code

Built to WCAG 2.2 AA and checked with the W3C validator, so the site works for every visitor and every browser.

How We Work

A Clear Process from First Call to Launch Day

Most business owners on the coast are busy in season and busier when the snowbirds arrive. Our process is built so you spend your time on decisions, not on chasing a web designer for updates.

  1. Discovery call

We learn how you win customers today, who you compete with in your county and what the site has to do for you. You get a written quote and timeline afterward.

  2. Plan and content

We map the pages, the questions customers ask and the search terms worth targeting, then write or polish the copy with you.

  3. Design and build

You review real pages in a private preview link, not static pictures. We hand-code the approved design and wire up forms, booking and analytics.

  4. Test and launch

Lighthouse, W3C validation, axe accessibility checks and real-device testing, then launch with SSL, redirects, a sitemap and search console setup.

After launch we stay on call for changes, hosting and ongoing SEO if you want it. If you would rather make your own edits, we can add our SimpleCMS editor so you can update text and photos from a browser.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Which parts of Florida does A1A Web Design serve?

We build websites for businesses in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Brevard counties, the stretch of Florida's Atlantic coast that State Road A1A connects from the Palm Beaches to the Space Coast. Because every project runs remotely, we also take on businesses anywhere else in Florida.

You are based in Buffalo, New York. How does working remotely with a Florida business work?

Discovery calls, design reviews and launch all happen by phone, video and email. Buffalo and the Florida coast share the Eastern time zone, so our working day lines up with yours. We do not have a Florida office and we do not do on-site visits.

What are AEO and GEO?

AEO, answer engine optimization, structures your content so search features and voice assistants can lift a direct answer from it. GEO, generative engine optimization, helps AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews understand, trust and cite your business. Both build on solid traditional SEO rather than replacing it. Learn more on our AEO and GEO pages.

Will my new website be ADA compliant?

We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA (opens in a new tab), which includes every WCAG 2.1 AA requirement the Department of Justice (opens in a new tab) adopted for government websites, and we test with automated tools, keyboard navigation and screen reader checks before launch. No honest designer can promise a site will never draw a complaint, but a site built and tested this way is far better protected than one relying on an overlay plugin. Read more about our ADA website accessibility work.

Can I update my website myself?

Yes. We can include AldoMedia SimpleCMS, a lightweight editor that lets you change text, photos, galleries and menus from a browser without touching code. If you prefer, we handle updates for you.

How much does a website cost and how long does it take?

Every project is quoted in writing after a free consultation, so you know the price and the timeline before any work begins. Smaller sites often launch within a few weeks once content is ready, while larger builds with many pages or integrations take longer.
