Websites Designed Around Your Business

A1A Web Design offers ten services for businesses on Florida's Atlantic coast: custom website design, three industry-specific website types, web development, local SEO, answer engine optimization, generative engine optimization, ADA accessibility, and speed and code quality work. New websites include the search, accessibility and speed groundwork; existing sites can hire any service on its own.

Custom Website Design

A design drawn from your brand, your customers and the competition in your county. Every page is hand-coded, so nothing loads that your visitors do not need.

Real Estate Websites

Sites for agents, brokers and property managers with community guides, property showcases and inquiry forms built to reach serious buyers and sellers.

Restaurant Websites

A menu that is real text instead of a blurry PDF, hours that match your Google listing, and one tap to call, reserve or order.

Tourism & Hospitality Websites

For hotels, vacation rentals, charters and attractions: pages that answer a traveler's questions before they book, and that change easily with the seasons.

Development, Search and Compliance

Code, Visibility and Accessibility Services

These are built into every new site we make. Each one is also available on its own if your current website needs help in one specific area.

Web Development

Custom PHP and JavaScript, contact forms with layered spam protection, integrations, and the optional SimpleCMS editor for owners who want to make their own changes.

Local SEO

Technical fixes, service and location pages, and a Google Business Profile that agrees with your website, so nearby searchers can find you.

Answer Engine Optimization

Pages written around the questions your customers actually ask, with FAQ structure and schema that answer boxes and voice assistants can quote.

Generative Engine Optimization

Consistent facts about your business across your site and the web, plus clear entity data and llms.txt, so AI tools describe you correctly.

ADA Website Accessibility

New builds and audits of existing sites against WCAG 2.2 AA, with problems fixed in the code itself rather than covered by an overlay widget.

Website Speed & Code Quality

Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals tuning, compressed WebP images, W3C-valid markup and security headers for sites that feel slow or fragile.

How Design, SEO, AEO, GEO and Accessibility Fit Together

It helps to picture a website as a stack of layers, where each one depends on the layer underneath it. When a lower layer is weak, the work above it never performs the way it should.

  • Code and speed are the foundation. Valid HTML, compressed images and a server that answers quickly. If a page is slow to load on a phone, visitors leave before your design or your words get a chance. That is the job of our speed and code quality work.
  • Accessibility lives in the same code. Real headings, labeled forms, text alternatives for images and controls that work with a keyboard. The structure that lets a screen reader understand a page also helps search engines and AI tools understand it, which is one reason accessibility work is never wasted.
  • Design is what people see and do. A clear message in the first few seconds, an obvious next step and pages that feel like your business. Good design turns the visitors that search brings you into calls and bookings.
  • Local SEO connects you to nearby searches. Service and location pages, technical health, and a Google Business Profile whose name, address and phone details agree with your site.
  • AEO and GEO sit on top. They shape your content so answer boxes, voice assistants and AI tools can quote it and describe you accurately. Google's own guidance says there are no extra requirements or special optimizations needed to appear in its AI features (Google Search Central (opens in a new tab)), which is exactly why we build AEO and GEO on sound SEO instead of selling them as tricks.

That is why we rarely sell one layer by itself on a brand-new site. On a site you already have, though, any one of these layers can be the right place to start, and fixing the weakest one first usually gives you the biggest return for the money.

Where to Start: A Quick Guide

Find the situation that sounds most like yours. Each one points to the service that usually makes the biggest difference first.

  1. You have no website, or one you avoid sharing

Start with custom website design, or go straight to the restaurant, real estate or hospitality page if one describes you. The search and accessibility groundwork comes with the build.

  2. Your site looks fine, but the phone is quiet

Begin with a local SEO review to see whether people can find you at all, then add AEO content around the questions customers ask.

  3. Your site feels slow or breaks on phones

Ask for a speed and code quality audit. If the site is old enough, we will tell you whether a rebuild costs less than repairs.

  4. You are worried about an accessibility complaint

Start with an ADA accessibility audit. We find and fix the barriers in the code. For legal questions about a demand letter, talk to an attorney; we are web developers, not lawyers.

  5. AI tools describe your business wrongly, or not at all

Look at generative engine optimization, usually paired with answer engine optimization, so the facts about you are clear and consistent wherever AI tools look.

  6. You need something custom

Booking flows, calculators, client areas or a site you can edit yourself fall under web development.

Plain-English tip: Not sure which situation fits? Send us your current web address. We will check it with our own scanner plus Lighthouse, axe and the W3C validator, and tell you which layer needs attention first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to buy these services together?

No. Each service can be hired on its own for a website you already have. When we build a new site, the groundwork for SEO, accessibility and speed is part of the build, so you are not paying twice for the same work.

What is the difference between local SEO, AEO and GEO?

Local SEO helps your site and your Google Business Profile show up when people nearby search for what you sell. AEO shapes your pages so search features and voice assistants can quote a direct answer from them. GEO helps AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews describe and recommend your business accurately. All three rest on the same technical foundation.

Which service should a brand-new business start with?

Start with a website that has the SEO, accessibility and speed foundations built in, and make sure your Google Business Profile matches it. AEO and GEO work pays off more once you have a few months of real customer questions to write about.

Can you improve a website another company built?

Usually, yes. We can audit and improve speed, accessibility and search visibility on most existing sites. If the platform makes those fixes impractical, or more expensive than a rebuild, we will tell you plainly before you spend anything.

How do you price these services?

Price depends on the number of pages, the features and the integrations involved, so we quote each project in writing once we understand it. You see exactly what is included before you agree to anything, and the first consultation costs nothing.
