Our Work

Website Design Portfolio

Every site on this page is live, built by Aldo at AldoMedia, the studio behind A1A Web Design. Visit any of them, run them through PageSpeed Insights, and judge the work for yourself.

  • Real businesses, real live sites
  • Hand-coded, no page builders
  • No invented case studies

A1A Web Design is a new name on the Florida coast, but the designer behind it has been building websites since 1999. Most of the work below is for businesses in Western New York and Pennsylvania, plus two of our own sites. We show it because it is real, not because it is in Florida. Your coastal project gets the same process and the same standards.

Fig Tree Patisserie homepage with a macaron photo and custom cakes headline
Bakery Website

Fig Tree Patisserie

Specialty bakery, Buffalo (Kenmore), New York

A full front-end rebuild that replaced a purchased theme with hand-written CSS and a small amount of vanilla JavaScript. The heavy theme's stylesheets, scripts and icon fonts were removed, images were converted to responsive WebP, fonts were self-hosted, and the embedded 360 tour became a click-to-load facade so it no longer slows the page.

  • Google Lighthouse 100 in all four categories on every page we measured, mobile and desktop, at launch
  • Accessible off-canvas mobile menu tested on real phones
  • Custom cake and macaron ordering information that customers can find quickly
Romeo and Juliet's Caffe homepage with an Italian dish and an Order Online button
Restaurant Website

Romeo & Juliet's Caffe

Italian restaurant and bakery, Buffalo area, three locations

A multi-location restaurant site that keeps menus, specials and catering information organized, with an Order Online menu that hands guests straight to the restaurant's online ordering provider. It is the kind of setup coastal restaurants need when visitors are deciding where to eat from their phones.

  • Online ordering menu in the main navigation
  • Locations, catering and specials pages
Virtual 3 Sixty homepage with a rotating 3D cube of virtual tour photos
Real Estate & 360 Tours

Virtual 3 Sixty

AldoMedia's own 360° virtual tour division

Our virtual tour division's site was rebuilt from an aging 2016 template into a hand-built PHP site. The hero is a three-dimensional cube made with CSS alone, with no WebGL library to download, so it stays light on phones. The same team shoots 360 tours for real estate listings and businesses and publishes them to Google Maps.

  • CSS-only 3D hero, no heavy 3D library
  • Rebuilt from a 2016 template into hand-built PHP
Air or Sea Travel homepage with a coastal photo and a destination search box
Travel & Tourism

Air or Sea Travel

Trip planning and hotel booking site

A travel planning site that compares ways to get between destinations by air, rail, road and sea, with destination guides and live hotel booking handled through a booking API rather than outbound links. It shows the kind of integration work a hospitality business needs when bookings are the whole point of the site.

  • Live hotel search and booking through an API integration
  • Destination guides built from structured data
West Palm Media homepage with a West Palm Beach waterfront video and consultation button
Florida Web Studio

West Palm Media

Our sister studio for West Palm Beach

Our own studio site for West Palm Beach businesses, rebuilt in 2026 with service pages for design, SEO, AEO and GEO, and town pages across Palm Beach County. It includes the same accessibility preferences toolbar you can try on this site, a strict content security policy and a no-tracking privacy approach.

  • Built to WCAG 2.2 AA with an accessibility statement
  • Hardened security headers, including a content security policy
StubOrder homepage with a live concert photo and an event search bar
Events & Tickets

StubOrder

Ticket marketplace, Buffalo, New York

A large custom PHP platform for a Buffalo ticket company, connected to a live ticket inventory provider. We built the event, performer, venue and city pages, the structured data behind them, a custom content management system, ticket alerts and an installable web app. It is the most complex site in this portfolio and shows what we can build when a business needs more than brochure pages.

  • Live inventory integration with caching to keep pages fast
  • Custom CMS, event alerts and installable web app
Simple Beauty by Emily homepage with a portrait and a permanent makeup headline
Beauty Studio

Simple Beauty by Emily

Permanent makeup studio, Hamburg, New York

A personal-brand studio site with online booking links, a portfolio and service pages. We completed a full audit and remediation covering accessibility, security headers, SEO and AI readiness, and the owner can edit text and photos through our SimpleCMS editor.

  • Full accessibility and security remediation
  • Owner-editable through AldoMedia SimpleCMS
Perfect Roofing and Siding homepage with a roofing photo and a consultation banner
Home Services

Perfect Roofing & Siding

Roofing, siding and gutters contractor, Pittsburgh area, Pennsylvania

A contractor site where the job is simple: show the work, build trust and make the phone ring. We overhauled its SEO and compliance, corrected its business details on the site, and added landing pages built for paid advertising with call tracking by ad platform.

  • SEO and compliance overhaul
  • Ad landing pages with phone numbers that change by ad platform

What Every Project Has in Common

The businesses above sell very different things, from macarons to roofs to concert tickets, but every project follows the same standards. They are the same standards we bring to a coastal restaurant in Delray Beach, a charter captain in Fort Pierce or a real estate team in Melbourne.

  • Hand-coded, not assembled. No page builders or plugin stacks, so pages stay fast and nothing breaks when a plugin updates.
  • Measured, not promised. We test with Google Lighthouse, the W3C validators and axe accessibility checks, and we show you the results.
  • Search-ready from day one. Clean URLs, unique titles and descriptions, structured data, sitemaps and an AI-crawler policy.
  • Yours to keep. You own your domain, your content and your code. No lock-in.
  • Honest marketing. No fake reviews, no invented statistics and no ranking guarantees.

Why Is There No Florida Work Here Yet?

Because A1A Web Design is a new brand, and we will not pad this page with mockups dressed up as client projects. As Florida coastal projects launch, they will appear here with the owner's permission. Until then, the best evidence we can offer is real work you can visit and test today, and real reviews from the people who paid for it.
